Dental Associates of Anaheim

Lets start with the person that is at the front desk or answers the phone. She tries to be friendly and in focusing on that too much, she comes across very unprofessional. How does she know I feel comfortable speaking in another language? She doesn't know me, why should she assume? I have small ache in one of my teeth, she was quick to get my insurance stuff, get in me...ONLY to look at the problematic thing, no exam, no x-rays. How are you going to find the root cause of the issue without an exam, without x-rays? In November she told me they don't have a dentist or someone on staff that does cleaning, so they have to gather enough people to get someone in. I never heard back. I called them in December and no answer, I went into their offices and they were closed. I finally called them at

Scheduled a cleaning and xray. At the visit, they did the xray, reviewed, and everything looks good from the doctor, no problems, no cavities. They then said "Let's schedule your cleaning". Which.....is what I actually wanted. Fine. One available day in two weeks over the next six weeks. Go back for the cleaning. Had to cool my heels because they gave my appointment slot away. On the intake forms they marked my previous dentist's phone number as required instead of my contact phone number. Right before they go to admit me they show me a list of services they're going to perform, there's $400+ of work they want to do despite the glowing recommendation. Seemed to be deep cleaning of two areas and then some sort of antiobotic wash. Told them I'd prefer to just do the scheduled cleaning. A

Dr. Thomas and his staff are amazing! He is very gentle, nice, and professional! He's always been incredibly honest and let me know what he can do, or if I need to see a specialist. I never feel pressured to get work done that I don't want. The front office workers Maria and Yvette are awesome and make you feel comfortable and welcome. They always have me laughing and smiling, which is hard to do at the dentist! Gina, the hygienist cleaned my teeth with care and made sure I was never in pain. All around incredible staff and service!

This office is very clean and friendly. The staff takes a personal interest in their clients and treats them like family. It is very “Old School” and they do not try to upsell you on dental care and/or products that are not necessary. I highly recommend this dentist and office.

I love this dental office! Maria at the front desk, dental assistants and doctors are super friendly. They always make me feel comfortable during my visits.
