Dental Assisting Academy of Central Florida

DAACF is a great program for individuals looking to become dental assistants. The program is short and the work isn’t too challenging. The environment is very welcoming and they offer classes for Spanish and English speakers. The only thing that could be improved is the video lectures, but most of the value of the class comes from the labs. My instructor, Shannon, was extremely encouraging and was one of the best teacher I’ve ever had. I was very lucky to have gotten her as my instructor. At times I also worked with Monica, who was straightforward, kind, and firm enough to make sure students understood. I would highly recommend this program to others. My experience here was amazing. The instructors are amazing and feel like family right off the bat. You're given thorough explanations and they make sure your understand the topic before you leave , no reason you should fail. Amarilis was my instructor and she was amazing. She was always available to answer questions outside of school and give us real life situations while in class. Monica, too was very great and helpful . I wish I can enroll here twice. 10/10 recommend !

I’m really grateful for my experience at DAACF Dental School. The program is hands-on and truly prepares you for what it’s like in a real dental office. I left feeling more confident and ready to step into the field. Ms. Monica A. was an amazing instructor throughout the program. She’s encouraging, approachable, and always makes sure you really understand the material. Her support made a big difference in my learning. The office staff is very helpful and friendly, always ready to answer questions and make the whole experience smooth and welcoming. I definitely recommend DAACF to anyone who wants practical experience and solid preparation for a career in dentistry.

Took the Dental Assisting 8 week course and learned so many new things about dental care and anatomy and function. Their weekend lab was very hands-on, completely hands-on at that! My instructor was Monica A, I LOVE HER, SHE IS THEEE BEST, on top of being knowledgeable she gets you working and she made my entire experience that much better! This is definitely a hybrid style course if you choose to invest, but as long as you apply yourself and do your due diligence you will learn so much! Also if you are not clear on things they offer 1 on 1 in person time on Tuesdays! If you are interested in dental assisting and are hesitant (which is the reason you are doing your research reading this review!) this is your sign to call Giselle (the coordinator) and get signed up!!! My experience at the dental assisting academy was amazing it was incredibly rewarding experience that pushed me to grow both professionally and personally. A huge part of that was my amazing instructor, Shannon, and my incredible patient tutor, Monica. I felt challenged in the best way every single week. Shannon’s patience, knowledge, and encouragement, combined with Monica’s guidance and support, helped build my confidence and made even the toughest lessons feel achievable!
