Unfortunately, working with Dr Ahmad is like working with a robot using checklists, fear based cancer scripts and treatments that make no sense. He has no compassion or empathy for cancer patients and orders irrelevant tests and Dr. Visits just to bill as much as he can to your health insurance. He doesn't even know to say...."how are your feeling? during an office visit. He even had the gall to ask me how much money I make during my initial consult. That's when I should have FIRED him. I felt like he wanted me to jump through all these hoops to sell me the CURE and submit me into a broken healthcare system that will leave you bankrupt at death. Dr. Delshad Ahmad met with me the first time and seemed unfriendly. Didn't even crack a smile. In my entire life, Dr. Ahmad is one of the worst doctors I have ever dealt with. He lacks compassion. He lacks empathy. My diagnosis is very serious and life threatening. I left his office feeling my life was over and there was no hope. Then Lucy botched ordered chemo---didn't apply for preapproval and my chemo was canceled because they claimed my insurance company didn't give authorization. Not true. It was in Lucy authorization department and they had sat on a STAT, expedited request for treatment of this very aggressive form of cancer I have. Dr. Ahmad and his team were so welcoming to my aunt. He explained everything thoroughly and was very patient with all of her questions. He reassured her that everything would be fine and they were there to get her through the process. He was professional, kind, considerate and knowledgeable.
