Delaware Valley Residential Care

My husband is a resident here and has been for almost 3 months now. I am very pleased with the care that he’s been receiving. His aides are attentive and caring. His therapists are terrific and he enjoys the daily sessions very much. He likes his apartment and his neighbors. Everything is newly built and in great condition. There are tons of staff here... so there’s always someone when you need them. They probably have 2x as many staff as the patients. Management is friendly too and available if you need to talk. All in all, my family and I are very happy.

My brother resides at this facility, I’ve had a few obstacles and his stay there for the last three years, but for the most part the staff is very kind and caring. They always respond to me within a reasonable time when I have questions. It was rough over the Covid 19 pandemic but now the residents have been vaccinated and the restrictions are easing up. Thank you for all you do to keep my brother safe and well, Most of the nurses are really awesome as well easy to talk to. There is one that needs a little bit of an attitude adjustment and her name is Jenny. Very unpleasant makes you feel like you’re bothering her

The staff is very rude and the residents can’t even leave. Some of them can’t even go to rehab and never go they see there money. A lot of neglect is happening no showers for days at a time.they have bedbugs and roaches and mice. Residents don’t have the proper clothes or medical equipment. We have people in wheelchairs and they want the staff to provide a one person assist when they really need a Hoyer lift. Staff are given out medical to the residents without the proper credentials so if something happens to a resident then what.Other staff are disgusting they talk to the residents like trash tell them they can’t eat or wash calls them all kinds of names. I feel so bad for them I wish the state do something this place is SICK i hope that the residents get the help and care they really

You get to do a lot of amazing things for people who really need it. You get what you put into it. If you put in good effort it works. Those who are professional will succeed here. There are some amazing staff in every department who come in every day and pour their hearts and souls into their work. If you are new here find them and learn from them.

This place nearly killed my family member. He had to be moved to another location. If we could prove it we would sue them. It’s appalling the conditions in this place. It has multiple levels of issues and reports from the state.
