Delaware Arthritis

I do NOT recommend Delaware Arthritis. My wife had bloodwork done here on 1/3/25 through Quest Diagnostics. All tests were covered by insurance except one, which cost hundreds of dollars because it was labeled “experimental.” We were NEVER informed this test might not be covered. Patients deserve to know upfront so they can make an informed decision — especially for “experimental” services. After 6–8 phone calls and multiple promises to re-code the test, nothing changed. Now, over a year later, the bill has been sent to collections. Sarah from the office was extremely unhelpful and unsympathetic. The doctor my wife saw doesn’t even work there anymore. Very disappointing experience. Look elsewhere.

Not sure what’s going on with their scheduling team but I’m a new patient waiting to schedule Osteoporosis shots prescribed two months ago. I’ve called and left messages with no return calls. I’ve also heard from a few patient friends that they’ve had the same difficulty getting appointments. So I would not recommend until they solve their admin/scheduling challenges. ** Update: the day I wrote this review I had also submitted a scheduling request online so not sure what got their attention but I got a call to schedule the appointment. An insurance approval they previously said would take six weeks took less than 24 hours. They said the reason they didn’t get back to me at the end of September is that they lost two people suddenly and I guess have not had luck replacing them.

I find the positive reviews amusing. 17 days ago my primary care physician sent a referral so I could make an appointment. After several calls later and after numerous times being told they need to. “ Create a chart” I have never received a call back Even though I was told, I would hear in 7 to 10 days. Good luck to anybody trying to get An appointment with them I’ve basically been ignored. Seeking care elsewhere

The front office/admin staff is absolutely abhorrent. I have tried to have my information faxed over to schedule a new patient appointment, and they say "didn't get it, have em send it again" to which you have to wait 7 business days to then find out again, "didn't get it, have em send it again". It's actually concerning that they keep track of files this way, doesn't give me confidence that my information will be handled with the privacy it should. Also, the first time I called, the woman on the phone asked "What's your diagnosis? why are you coming in? that doctor doesn't even treat xx diagnosis." Interesting, to my knowledge, you're not a nurse/practitioner or doctor, it seems like a HIPAA violation that I have to disclose all my ailments to someone who's job it is just to answer phones

Dr. Pando was very thorough with my first visit with him. He was patient and kind, and he asked lots of questions to help with a diagnosis. He gave me ideas to help me get better and feel better through my journey. He was also very personable. He was highly recommended to me by a friend, and I’m very glad I was able to get an appointment with him. I would recommend him to anyone.
