Defyne Plastic Surgery

I'm sharing my experience with Defyne plastic surgery and Dr Jourdain Artz and Dr Nathan Jowett. I went for a consultation in early June 2025 for a facelift and tummy tuck consultation. I met with both Dr Artz and Dr Jowett. I really wasn't sure all what I needed but after speaking with both of them felt very confident in my choice to go with both of them. From my initial consultation I was scheduled with Dr Artz for a tummy tuck, lipo 360, lipo on my arms and inner thighs, a breast lift, fat transfer to hip dips and cellulite treatment called Aveli and my glutes. I felt very comfortable with him even though I honestly didn't know much about his work since he was so new to Arizona. After losing a massive amount of weight, I decided to get an abdominoplasty. After lots of research, I chose Dr. Tessler, and I do not regret that decision in the slightest. The entire staff in his office has been supportive and attentive both before and after my surgery. Pre-Op communication was excellent—all of my questions were answered thoroughly, and I felt prepared and comfortable going into the operation itself. I had a couple of post-op healing hiccups, and the consistent communication and attention I received in these matters solidified that I made the right choice. After losing weight, I was not happy with left over skin and some muscle damage. Dr. Tessler gave me options and helped me feel confident in the decision I made. Unfortunately, I did not tolerate the procedure awake, and I needed to go back to use full anesthesia. His office was accommodating for thr second session and made sure I was very comfortable. I decided to add some services the second round, and I cannot be happier with the results. His workmanship was perfect. The staff are always friendly, know me by name, and always respond quickly to requests. I definitely recommend people to this office.

The team at Defyne is very professional and detail oriented. The pre-and post-op communication is excellent, and they do a great job of making themselves available 24/7. I ended up with some significant after-op requirements, and I felt as though they were with me the whole way. The docs are great, and the entire staff is very friendly and responsive. I feel like I made a good decision going with Defyne.
