Dawson Pediatrics

We’ve been going to this pediatrician for a little over a year we used to go to the other branch in Dawsonville but we moved . In 6 months our son had 2 cases of raspiratory virus that was not treated in time , even though we came to see a doctor . we tried to schedule an appointment for 4 days straight and they were booked and the receptionist just kept repeating the sentence “ I can put you on the cancellation list” even though we pleaded for an appointment. We were lucky to have someone canceled just to go there and wait over an hour to be seen ( something you’ll always experience long wait lines due to 1 nurse and 1 doctor only in this office ) No swap or extra exams were done on him and we were released with “ it’s a common cold “ with no treatment what so ever . Dawson Pediatrics is wonderful! We see Holly Vali and she is simply the best. Not only is she professional, she is extremely caring and reassuring for us new parents. Couldn’t ask for better care for our son.

This place has good doctors and terrible customer service. From an administration and receptioning perspective, this is the worst doctor's office I have experienced bar none. As a customer, you will encounter understaffed offices which usually cannot accommodate walk ins and absolutely absurd hold times when placing calls to a primary care provider. You will think perhaps you're simply having bad luck, but when you consistently have terrible service experiences, you will realize that Dawson Pediatrics is simply managed poorly. In short, Dawson Pediatrics is chronically understaffed. In fairness, it's probably due to incompetent management, but the customer experience is so bad, the doctors and medical staff can't hope to make up the difference. Find a different provider.

Stay away from Dawson Pediatrics. Their sick appointments are booked at least 2 months in advance. Their check-up appointments are booked at least 6 months in advance. If you take your child there for a sick visit make sure you call them 30 days later to find out if you owe them or the following list of events will occur: They will not send you a paper bill. They will not send you an e-mail bill. They will not call you to tell you that you owe them. They will not text you to tell you that you owe them. They will wait. For 120 days. And Brittany Townley will send you a threatening letter that was printed 3 days earlier than its postmark. And you'd receive it 7 days after the date on the letter itself. We love coming to Dawson Pediatrics! We have been with them for over 12 years now. We love the drs and staff they are fantastic. The offices are always clean and neat.
