We took a cat in from our neighbors who gave us a voucher to have her fixed at this place. She ended up with an infection and polyps. There was glue clear down to the original suture site and polyps from towel clamps which probably broke a sterile field. I took her to our regular vet because she was in pain and the site looked disgusting, started looking worse everyday a month later. She had to be opened back up, polyps removed, Hard fibrous tissue clear through the muscle wall. Poor girl has been in so much pain, but cats don’t show it very much. She was given a long acting antibiotic. Long story long, our vet discounted his price for an emergency surgery because he felt bad but it still cost us an additional 240 bucks & lots of extra pain for this sweet kitten.

Do not use this vet ! even for your pet turtle!. I was visiting from out of town helping to clean a basement when I caught my Dalmatian eating rat poison out of trash. My vet directed me to go to local vet and they would send records if needed. Dr Davis arrived in office while I was talking to receptionist and walked passed me..did not even look at me and went into a room with receptionist and closed the door. Receptionist came out and told me the vet could not help me in anyway and I should call poison control!...I have never seen such an insensitive person who claims to be a veterinarian!. I called Animals Unlimited in Jackson and they said come on over. My friend who uses Animals Unlimited had considered changing to Davis Vet but definately won't now!

Dr. Davis is very kind and knows her business as a vet. I am grateful for her practice in our little rural town of McArthur. Her staff is helpful as well. Dr. Davis is affordable care for our pets, she shows compassion and respect. She takes time to make sure pet owners know how to care for their pets during their recovery and follow up. I recommend her for all your four legged friends.

Nice people and very pleasant experience till I got home and looked at the bill. There was a charge of $35 for an exam so knowing that my dog didn't get an exam and my dog just got his nails clipped and a shot, I called. The woman told me that the vet had did an exam but I was standing there the whole time and she did no exam. Needles to say I was upset over her blatant lie. I don't like vets getting over on people who actually care about their dogs and they shouldn't either. Won't be going back
