I've been seeing Dr. Weiss for decades and I've always trusted his expertise and guidance. Professional, clear, and informative. Additionally, his office is well managed and the staff are excellent and friendly.

Dr. Weiss is a genuine professional with excellent staff. As I have moved around the DMV area, I continue going to him regardless of distance because I trust my eyes to his care. When my wife was pregnant and had her vision change, he took great care of her. When I had an unexpected vision emergency, the office was willing to accommodate me for a last-minute same-day appointment. Then Dr. Weiss quickly identified the issue and referred me to a wonderful ophthalmologist for further treatment. Dr. Weiss has been my eye doctor for some 29 years. More importantly, he's been my son's eye doctor for circa 20 years. He is an extraordinarily rare combination of brilliance, empathy, knowledge, patience, and clear communication. As a journalist who has lived in many places at home and abroad, I've had a handful of eye doctors -- and Dr. Weiss is by far the best. An important example: After my son had visited several eye doctors who were unable to fully correct his vision -- and had no explanation why -- Dr. Weiss examined him. He decided to do a brain/head MRI. This revealed that one of his hypotheses was correct -- my son suffered from a rare birth defect === his optic nerve was atrophied (not fully grown), so its ends didn't fully extend to his eyes. Dr Weiss created the best eye doctor experience I’ve had. I usually don’t like going because my right eye has horrible vision and it’s very frustrating. But Dr Weiss was so incredibly validating and understanding. I could tell he genuinely wanted to help as much as he could. Couldn’t recommend seeing him enough.
