Dr. Wein seemed nice enough during my visit. He's a doctor that is "going on his own," which just means he doesn't have a big practice. I can appreciate that. That sort of model is a rarity today. I was able to get an appointment quickly. I didn't have to make a second appointment to get my allergy results "read." Allergy testing was quick (just a series of pricks on my arms). When I called back to ask what some of the tests contained (for instance, the grasses), I was told by the receptionist to call the company that Dr. Wein orders from to "see if they can tell you." If you choose allergy testing with Dr. Wein, be prepared to do your own research on things he orders from Stallergenes Greer. I didn't appreciate that reply. Dr. Wien is an outstanding doctor! After going to 2 ENTs, 1 other allergist, getting 2 allergy tests and a CAT scan, I was left with no answers to why I was miserable from sneezing ALL day with allergy attacks once a month. Dr. Wiens took my lifestyle, symptoms, allergy history and CAT scan results carefully into consideration to develop a unique plan to alleviate my symptoms. His treatment plan worked! Within a few weeks, I was better and even months later, my severe symptoms have not returned! I have regular, manageable allergies now. I recommend Dr. Wien to anyone! He is extremely knowledgeable and cares to listen to you in order to help. He was the only doctor to take me and my symptoms seriously.

As someone who has had many doctors throughout my life time, I find it top priority to have a medical provider that you can completely trust to be totally transparent with but also who you don't feel judged by and you actually feel heard by. I have found exactly that and much more with Dr. Wien as my immunology/allergy specialist. I go to him for everything and can talk to him about anything. I'm definitely a pain as a patient, I know that, but it doesn't phase Dr. Wien or impact the care he provides me. He always hears me out no matter what. He always does what's in his ability to help me, even though he is technically under no obligation to assist with anything else other than what he specializes in. I took my granddaughter here after her allergist retired. Cons - live 45 min. away, not his fault 🙂. Pros - everything!! Dr Wien is VERY efficient & took time to explain everything. He adjusted her medz to find a starting point for her as a new patient, versus just taking her previous test at face value. He took her off her daily allergy medz which was drying her nasal passage & causing her to. breathe heavily & use a daily inhaler. He also suggested she stop the inhaler & use as needed. Now, no inhaler and she hasn’t had an issue, so far. She’s no longer breathing & having an easier time. Last but not least, he is personable with GREAT bedside manners!! I highly recommend!

Dr. Wien is fantastic, caring, and thorough. He spent at least 45mins-1hr with me at my appointment. Prior to my appointment with him, I spent several months (almost a year) suffering from a severe allergic reaction on my eyelids that my dermatologist and primary care doctor couldn't figure out. Dr. Wien asked the right questions, made suggestions, completed testing, and provided me with several samples of products to try while I battled this allergy. He was right about the cause.
