This was my first visit with Dr. Smink - I really appreciate that his office was able to schedule my appointment on the same day I called! Dr. Smink was very personable and took the time to clearly explain the possible causes of my injury and steps I can take to reduce the pain/discomfort until he can review the MRI he prescribed.

My exam by the Doctor was brief but adequate. However, the supporting team of administrative assistants is terrible. They are apathetic and neglectful. Despite being in pain and repeatedly asking, for weeks, for their assistance, I have yet to be helped in following up on the doctor's initial treatment recommendations (in the necessary follow up with my insurance or with the supply of medication). You need to leave repeated messages but rarely get a call back. Perhaps the number of patients they have is too large, but I can no longer wait for their help. I am now searching for a reliable supporting team with another Doctor.

Dr. Smink is always thorough and is conservative about recommending surgery until other avenues have been tried, which I appreciate.
