I was very fortunate to find Dr. David Hecker, both I and my son were treated with the utmost care and attention from the doctor, his very nice assistant and the front desk ladies. Doctor Hecker took a sample from my shoulder to test then he referred me to The Skin Institute Dr. Eli Saleeby , all were very pleasant, professional and caring as well. We don't live too far away from Hecker Dermatology, but even if we did move away further, we would go the distance to get to Hecker Dermatology, as they go the distance for us by being professional and providing the best care and attention. I had a growth on my forehead that, years earlier, another dermatologist said it would never become melanoma after removing a part of it. The lab results showed it was benign. I saw Dr. Hecker for an exam, and he was suspicious of this growth. He biopsied it, and it was melanoma. Fortunately, Dr. Hecker caught it early (Stage 0). I subsequently had the margins removed. No melanoma was seen in the margins, as Dr. Hecker had removed all of the cancer during the biopsy. The surgeon Dr. Hecker referred me to was also excellent and told me there was a 0% chance the melanoma would return to the site or metastasize due to Dr. Hecker catching it so early. Shady and unethical doctor. Sent my 19 year old son in by himself when I was out of town on business for a small patch of dry skin. They ran up an $850 bill running tests including charging $275 to take a flake of skin. Just horrible taking advantage of a young man like this. David Hecker, you may have graduated from medical school but you are no different from a sleazy used car salesman.

This is one of the most caring dermatologists we’ve ever been with. They help with major skin problems. The Doctor is patient and he’s been our dermatologist for many years now and there’s nothing to complain about.

My first visit to the Dermatologist and I thought everything was fine, until they charged me improperly and I have been making the claim for 1 month and nothing, my insurance already paid for the doctor's service and even confirmed that they already received it and I did not get a friendly response from the staff from the doctor... $83 back and that's how I'll demand it because it's hard for me to earn it, I've heard that they usually do that and they don't want to return the money but you have to be fair and do things right and that's how I'll get my money back !
