Dr Byrd wanted to fight me because I became irate when his window reception's' made a medicals decision concerning my medication. It was my 5 th attempt to get them from his office. (my REG was on vacation) His staff called the Athens Police on me who took no action against me ...in fact they got my medication for me. Apparent the DOC didn't read the patients rights to be treat with respect that is hanging in his lobby. BTW: I hope he has got his disgustingly dirty. rug cleaned by now. 252-9443

This bunch of so called Doctors are AWFUL. They will not call in prescriptions or refills. They do not care about their patients and don’t even try to find out what’s wrong with her them. They prescribe medications that don’t mix with what they are already taking. They recently washed their hands of my mother-in-law. Told her there is nothing more they can do for her. They are just awful people. I don’t recommend anyone going to them.

Never got to see! Always just with nurse practitioner, they play musical doctors so I was never seen by the same. When records requested said I hadn't been seen in seven months but I have records i was seen less than a month ago! Total neglect!

Dr. David Byrd is one of the best in Athens. Not sure why so many people are posting some of the negative things. It’s a great practice.

Very few returned phone calls, staffing is poor! Refills on prescriptions null and void!
