In short- I do NOT recommend this rheumatologist. I was referred to Dr. Rahmani for deep muscular pain and abnormal labs by my PCP. Dr. Rahmani started off my first appointment by interrupting me when I said I didn't understand the significance of my abnormal lab values. Now, I'm a registered nurse- I know more about the human body and diagnostic exams than the average layman. So, when I asked questions about why he was ordering both MRIs and CTs, as well as expressing my concerns about being exposed to radiation from a CT machine, he would get defensive. When I asked if ordering one MRI could show the results over the same general location rather than the two he ordered, he stated these questions where for the imaging department. Dr. Rahmani is a wonderful doctor that actually takes time to listen to concerns and organizes a plan of action for the care needed. I really liked him and would absolutely recommend him to anyone needing a Rheumatologist.

The most comprehensive and efficient medical exam I've ever had. Dr Rahmani performed an ultrasound on my shoulder, then removed fluid to send to the lab. He ordered x-rays of my hands and knees, and requested copies of images of my shoulders performed at other facilities. He also ordered several blood tests that required 7 vials of blood be drawn. Finally, he ordered an immediate urinalysis and a later 24 hour urine collection for analysis. All of this was done on-site, immediately following our visit. That fact saved me much time and many potential trips to other facilities. The staff were all cheerful and kind. Dr Rahmani's nurse, Jeanine (sp?) was especially helpful and informative. This is the place to go for medical care!

Doctor Rahmani and his nurse are great. They explain what is to be done and always show me respect and thoughtfulness during all.my visits.

The front reception desk needs to be trained in customer service. Make each one of us feel special. Just look at HEB and Buc-Cee’s. Those people make me feel like I want to come back.
