Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinics Manchester - 87 McGregor Street

Dartmouth has been okay so far. The providers I see there have all been good but the support staff needs some help. I had a follow-up with neurology that I had scheduled in 2022 that was for October of 2024. Dartmouth called about a week before to tell me that their call center booked me with the wrong provider. Since my schedule is very tight, I opted for a telehealth so I could get in sooner. Then the day before the appointment, they called to say I couldn't do a telehealth and scheduled me for March 2024. Months after my initial appointment. I did finally see my provider and she has always been kind and easy to talk to. However, her nurse seemed very frazzled and confused. She was a nice lady, so maybe it had just been a long day or perhaps she was new.

I never write reviews but my recent experience at Dartmouth Hitchcock Neurology was astounding. I had numbness in my right arm and went to Convient MD who referred me to Dartmouth Neurology, even though my insurance plan does not require a referral to see a specialist. After months of waiting I finally got in to see the doctor. Dr Ji conducted about 45 minutes of testing in the exam room and when she finished I asked what the results of the test revealed and what the treatment plan was. She turned to me and said “you are not my patient and you will have to talk to your primary care doctor” and then turned around walked out of the room. I have been going here for 10+ years. The staff is courteous, helpful, and attentive. The doctors that I have seen here are to notch! They are friendly and listen to all of your concerns. They have helped me tremendously over the years and have always gone the extra mile. I can highly recommend the Neurology & Pediatric Neurology departments. They are worth the extra drive for me. Dartmouth Hospital complex in Lebanon is cold and business-like where you feel like a number. Dartmouth Hitchcock Pavilion in Manchester, NH is excellent. Absolutely love Doctor Jii but one of her nurses (Sheryl) is horrible. Very rude. Tells me the doctor is not in the office today for an emergency visit. My fiancé is an epileptic and just had her first seizure in 4 years and instead of seeing her doctor they just keep telling her to take this new medication she got terrible symptoms from so they tell her to stop taking it then throw another pill at her and say try that one. Bottom line is she can’t even take care of herself right now and has been this way since her seizure and is terrified to take another medication so she called to see if she could get in to see her doctor for 5MINUTES just to tell her what’s been going on and Sheryl tells her to stop being difficult and she can’t see the doctor untill she tries that medicine.
