Totally disappointed by a singular staff member. Our first time bringing our child to DHCC. Moved from an amazing family practice that retired in Derry. Our daughter was having red patches on her face and first this NURSE told us it could be hands foot and mouth but no sores on any other part of her body. And then this NURSE told us it was an allergic reaction and to give our 19 m/o childrens benadryl. Luckily my wife looked up childrens benadryl and you are not supposed to give it to children under 6 because of fatal side effects or it needs to be prescribed by a PHYSICIAN directly to the patient. Totally unacceptable. Don't even have her medical records and don't even know our daughter fully yet. We will be actively looking for another provider for our daughter. Hopefully there is discip

Dr Catherine Holub-Smith. Is one of the nicest people I have ever met. The hospital is always helpful. It is a great place for your kids.

It took Stephanie 50 minutes to get our names, date of birth and to schedule our first visit. She then said she didn’t know how to send us a confirmation email with our scheduled appointment, but that she “might” be able to send us a text but “isn’t sure” and hung up. This call needs to be pulled and used as training material for employees. If Dartmouth Hitchcock is serious about maintaining their reputation as one of the finest healthcare institutions in the Northeast, these are the areas they need drastic improvement in. Patient care and the patient experience are two completely different things. You can have the finest clinicians in the world on staff, but if the communication from the office is as difficult as it was with Stephanie, people will take their business 2 minutes down

Dr. Silva & Dr. Catherine Holub-Smith are absolutely amazing. They both listen to every concern, even the smallest ones. On top of following up with other members of the care team, and always get back to you quickly so you’re not left waiting and wondering. I can’t say enough wonderful things.

I would not recommend this office. There was bad weather and an accident so we were 10 minutes late for our appointment. I called to let them know and they said that was okay as long as I was checked in by 10am. I got there at 10 exactly and they had already no showed me. They sent me to the front desk and receptionist had a rude attitude and no solution other than scheduling me for a later appointment. I cannot control that there was an accident and for you guys to just not take a baby in need is awful. It was a 10 minute difference. I am absolutely disgusted by this practice.
