Skin and Cancer Institute Turlock location Medical Board Complaint Submitted - I am deeply disturbed by the conditions my two-year-old was exposed to during our visit to this facility. Upon being brought into a patient room, we immediately noticed that it had not been cleaned following the previous procedure. There was blood on the floor, hazardous waste improperly disposed of in a regular trash bag—overflowing with blood-soaked paper towels—and a syringe filled with an unknown substance left out on a plate. This level of negligence is completely unacceptable, as it exposed my child to potential bloodborne pathogens.
