Dr. Chan is the ultimate professional. Based on his popularity, I believe his surgical skills to be beyond measure. Aside from that, he is always kind, always answers any questions or concerns you may have. His office staff is phenomenal. They go above and beyond to take care of their patients. I had so many questions because I was coming from another country for the surgery by Dr Chan. His surgical coordinator always got back to me immediately and always had the answer that I needed. I felt so well taken care of. I believe that this is the best surgical experience I have had in my life, and I have had many.

My hip surgery was absolutely "flawless" from beginning to end. There are good doctor's and then there are doctor's like Dr. Chan who are just in a class by themselves. The man is the "Michael Jordan" of Orthopedics. IMMEDIATELY after my hip surgery I felt "NO PAIN" in my hip area. Muscle pain, yes. But my hip, no pain. And if Dr. Chan is the Michael Jordan of Orthopedics, then his surgery coordinator Mrs. Yamile (Yammy) is his Scottie Pippen. Every update, all necessary paperwork, scheduling, pre-surgery doctor visits, bounce pass for the easy lay-up, or the alley-oop for the monster jam, you name it, Yammy was on it. I traveled from the different state to go to have my knee replacement surgery by Doctor Chan. I am still in pain after 4.5 months of surgery from knee stiffness and cannot sit or walk more than 20-30 minutes without pain. I could not travel to see Doctor Chan in person. The other knee doctor in my area told me something went wrong with my knee implant and that could cause pain and might need knee revision. Finally , I had a chance to telephone visit with Doctor Chan again ( the first visit is 2 months ago) as we communicated by message is not so clear. Doctor Daniel listened to my concerns and explained to me more clearly this time that my implant is stable and should not hurt any soft tissue of my knee or cause the scar tissue getting worse. I have been a life long exercise enthusiast. Dr. Chan and his team flawlessly replaced my hip and quickly had me on the road to recovery. The entire team was polite, engaged, and caring. And the skill of the surgical team was second to none. I know the other hip will need to be replaced and I would not even consider a surgeon other than Dr.Chan.
