Dallas Regional Medical Center: Emergency Room

Go to anywhere but here. We've been here 2.5 hours and only 2 people have been called back. Even with extremely low blood pressure they don't care. Absolutely no sense of urgency or care for the patients.

DO NOT COME HERE! Do not risk your life coming here. They have no sense of urgency. Staff is highly unprofessional, cackling and laughing in front and around patients who are in agonizing pain. You will receive better treatment anywhere else this place is a joke not an emergency room literally all you will do is sit around and wait for hours. Anyone that arrives after you will be admitted before you which makes no sense. You can have blood dripping all over your face and other people will be seen before you. Once again do not put your life at risk coming here.

This hospital should be investigated by the FBI. I'm almost certain a majority of its staff are either unqualified or just legitimately okay with medical malpractice. My wife was left bleeding out in their ER waiting room for over 2 hours. When they gave her blood they gave her something that set off an allergic reaction and nearly swole her throat shut, still took almost 45 minutes for my wife to get a steroid or allergy medication, she has received blood in the past with no issues or reactions so thats just a here thing. We haven't been told what the issue she has is or what caused the excessive bleeding, just demands of payment and unconcerned unprofessional staff that shouldn't be allowed within a thousand yards of a legitimate medical facility.

Waiting here while a family member is in surgery. To say this hospital is merely adequate may be a bit of an overstatement. It’s pretty run down looking, coffee is just bad, and the cafe is out of date, small, and unwelcoming. The food looked okay, but I didn’t try it. All of the staff are friendly and helpful, and they are the reason for the two stars. I asked my wife not to ever bring me here—not even if it’s an emergency.

I went for really bad pain. Was there since 930 am. I decided to leave and go elsewhere because they kept saying they didn't have beds. It was 2:30 when I left. Wait time was ridiculous.
