Dallas Nursing Institute

I just wanted to say that I love this school of nursing even though I’ve never been a student there before!’ And I heard that you can be waived from the ATI TEAS entrance exam, or the HESI A2 exam as long as you have an allied healthcare college degree in some particular specialization, you have the particular or proper prerequisite science courses along with recent healthcare experience in a patient care capacity?!

Very unprofessional and waste of money. Instructors fail you with passing grades when I showed my mom my grades she was throughly confused as to why they failed me and so was I I was pretty sure the specific instructor did not pass me because she did not like me the whole semester she had lacked professionalism and made it her duty to make me uncomfortable. Then they give you a transcript with no credit, stating I made an “F” in courses that I actually made a “B” but did not pass for their own made up reasons. Should sue them & probably still will.

unless you don’t have any other choice please don’t go to this school. There is a lot of prejudice, racism, and favoritism going on in this school. An instructor will fail you just because they don’t like you or their favorite student in the class doesn’t like you. They will pass they favorite person give extra credit when they actually failed test, quizzes and exam. You wonder how in the world that person pass. More than half of the class will always fail almost each semester and they do nothing to resolve that. There is a class with only two student. Even if you have good grades, if they don’t like you they put your grades down.

I am currently a nursing student at Dallas Nursing Institute and feel free to contact me if you want for any other information. But I do not recommend this school to anyone. Yes, all nursing programs can be unorganized but this school takes it to another level. It takes instructors WEEKS to grade online assignments and exams. When they give us blueprints for exams, it always last minute. They normally give it to you the day before the exam which does not help at all. When you contact some of the instructors regarding how they graded an assignment, they never respond until you include their bosses in the email. Nobody wants to help you! They assume you should already know the stuff that they are teaching. I would give anything to be able to start completely over somewhere else but right now

Took me a while to post this. Wanted to wait until I got out of this school so they don’t retaliate like they usually do. Every since they got the new Dean this school went to hell. Gaston was the best thing that happened to this college. I lucked up that she was still there but that assistant of hers was a piece of work. She didn’t care about the students. She was rude, unkindly, threatening, I’m not sure how she serves the public. This was a horrible experience for most students. And when you went to the top, they retaliated. Which explains why the ADN program is on hold by the BON. Get rid of McGee and her whole clan and this could be a better school and program.
