Cypress Garden Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation

I would not recommend this facility. My family member was admitted, based on her emergency room doctor’s suggestion of a 2 week trial period. After 2 weeks, I was in touch with the social worker to see what was the patient’s recovery progress. She said the doctor did not approve of a discharge and that it was necessary. She would not provide further contact information of a doctor or even a name. After another 2 weeks, I inquired of the patient’s progress, yet there was still no information given from a doctor, only the care team. It was reiterated again that she needed discharge approval from a doctor with whom I could not get in touch. Patient expressed multiple times to the staff to be discharged. Meanwhile, the Patient was also very uncomfortable with the neck brace she was giv

After checking my other in from the hospital, I checked the reviews. The ones I saw on yelp ranged from great to very negative. So I figured no one is perfect and hoped for the best. Well I have to say that this was the best rehab facility I ever saw! The PT and OT people were fantastic. They had her up and walking after multiple fractures of the pelvis. I guess anybody can fabricate a reall negative experience. I would recommend this place to anyone I care about.

My mom staying this rehab place one week already. yesterday I asked for a new Matrix for my mom‘s bed because the older one was too soft. they did change it this morning right away. I appreciate it emotional so fast. The nurses and the supervisor are nice so I like this place.

My grandmother was admitted to Cypress Gardens yesterday 8/19 and we were first greeted by concierge and was given contact information immediately upon arrival. The dining area and restrooms appear to be very well taken care of. The nurses and staff were prompt and thorough in taking care of my grandmothers needs right when she arrived. So far a very pleasant experience.

Excellent, compassionate, professional , and caring staff - nurses like Tarah, aides like Sophie, concierge service like Michael, insurance administrator like Agrima, social service staffers like Ronald, physical therapist and occupational therapists, up and down the 6th, 3rd, 2nd floors and the front door guards were amazing to my mom. Thank you so much for the love and care to meet her needs and for communicating constantly any issues as they arose.
