CVS Specialty Pharmacy

Terrible!!!! Worst service and run org. They are a nightmare to source medication through. Unfortunately they are the only provider so I’m stuck. They don’t process orders correctly and as per the script. They are terrible at resolution and all of the running, follow up and resolution is on the patient. Departments don’t communicate and I have a problem every single year on a script that renews every year. Everything seems to have to be escalated to be resolved. It’s a terrible situation, experience and a time drain and what’s worse is they don’t even care to improve or be service oriented. If you have any other choice - take it. CVS Specialty is not a pharmacy that actually delivers against scripts.

Quite literally the worst specialty pharmacy I have ever seen. The staff is very nice from my experience but MY GOD it will take minimum a month to get your medicine and YOU have to call in daily to stay on top of them and every time you call in, there is a new issue of why your medicine is not being sent.

For about 2 years now my experience with CVS specialty and CVS caremark pharmacies has been nothing but exceptional. For me the process of refilling and renewing my prescriptions has been seamless. They take the time to tell me if there's going to be a delay in my order and do their best to make sure that my doctor is contacted when necessary and they keep me posted on progress. I really don't have to do anything other than make sure place my monthly order. I really do appreciate them and thank them for everything they do

In 5 years of dealing with Costco specialty I never missed a dose and in 7 months of dealing with CVS specialty I have missed 3 doses of a shot I have to take weekly because of their inability to manage their business. Waiting until the day it was supposed to be delivered to inform me there was a problem with shipping or billing. And they can never take care of an issue the same day, it always takes several days to figure out. Worst specialty pharmacy in existence. I gave them a 2 star because I still get my meds most of the time.

I've been with the Specialty Pharmacy for 3 years because of a compound med. The last time I refilled, there were 10 days of me waiting for the renewal order. Currently, I'm dealing with a problem getting my regular meds reordered. I was instructed to get a one time monthly refill from my previous provider. I'll address this with a post and rating for CVS Mail order group. 2025 continue having refill problems. Employee Diamond became sarcastic, redundant, and seemed to try to frustrate me by repeating the same information several times.
