CVS Pharmacy

Really upset due to poor attentiveness and bad customer service. I came to pick up my prescription since it was my last day to do so. I was in line with at least three more groups behind me, but the pharmacist did not even acknowledge us and made us wait for at least 10 minutes. During that time, it passed midnight so I assume my prescription was returned since it was not “picked up on time” and while the time crunch was my own fault, I was very displeased that there was not even a simple acknowledgment from the pharmacist to let us know they would get to us shortly, and just told me I have to wait 30 minutes if I want my prescription. I feel like my time was wasted and if the situation was handled differently I would have been okay with everything even if I had to wait longer.

Honestly this is the worst pharmacy that you can imagine and I've been to pretty much every in SOCAL. The only reason I send my medications here is because they are usually in stock but as far as who runs management, this lady is afraid of losing her DEA license over nothing as all my RX numbers are in check, my Doctor's have had to call them after waiting DAYS and going back multiple times being lied to. One time, "oh its ready in 3 hours". 3 Hours passes, "insurance problem or we need verification from this or that". They actively listen through their AI and hang up on you instantly. My doctors then have to go through so much trouble which in return is not good for me, I've been as cordial throughout the years as I can be but this "Pharmacy" is shady as it can be. The CVS pharmacy at 18441 Ventura Blvd needs to work on customer acknowledgment and customer service. I was the only one standing in line to pick up my prescription and still waited close to 10 minutes. There were at least 5-6 employees in the pharmacy and none of them took the time to stop what they were doing to help me but they all saw me standing there. There was another lady that just wanted to ask a question and she was told someone would be with her shortly and no one assisted her either. She ended up just walking away after waiting for a few minutes. I would’ve done the same had it not been for needing my medication. After reading the reviews I was hesitant to go pick up my prescription here but it is the only 24 hour pharmacy near me at Reseda and Ventura. I was pleasantly surprised. Staff was plentiful and cordial, line moved fast, and my prescription was ready. Good to see a company take seriously the reviews and fix it. Bravo CVS for improving the customer service. Sick people are picking up medicine and to come to a pharmacy and feel they care is everything. I took the time to leave this review because you worked to fix what was clearly wrong from the other reviews.

Very bad customer service. My whole family and I used the services of this pharmacy for 20 years. But I haven't seen such rudeness and neglect towards customers that I have to endure lately. Today was the last time I went to this pharmacy. Disgusting.
