CVS Pharmacy

I originally had my prescription filled at this Barnum Ave CVS pharmacy but they "lost" my sensors somewhere in the store and wouldn’t have it in stock until Monday. I was told I could pick it up at another pharmacy (HawleyLane) that had it. I called and was told that they wouldn't have it in until Tuesday. My sensor would have run out by then. I requested them to send it back to the original pharmacy(Barnum Ave) since they would have it sooner. 12/19/2025 At 10:08am, the person on the phone (HawleyLane) checked again only for them to realize the one they had on hand was being held for me and told me it would be ready in half an hour to 40 minutes. I told the person on the phone that I would see them in about half an hour; I drove over and arrived at 10:49am to drive through to pick it up

Not my first time at this CVS’s location. Today, I was checking on the status of my prescriptions and spoke with the pharmacist with the Jamaican accent who told me they were ready. I asked him if I could drop by and pick them up immediately. His answer was absolutely ridiculous. “I can’t tell you when to pick up your prescriptions because I don’t know your schedule and that’s entirely up to you. I can tell you that they’re ready.” I never asked him to reserve me a time time slot or any other nonsense. I’ve spoken to a different pharmacist there who’s way more helpful. This guy is extremely rude and disrespectful. Another staff member who’s a white male, wears glasses, and has short reddish blonde hair, is also the same. Rude and combative with customers. A kid that looks like he should home and not working at all needs to learn how to read the names on online orders. Will not be going there ever again. They should just close that store with all the complaints.

The CVS staff at Barnum Avenue in Stratford are always professional, helpful and friendly. I always have a positive experience at this store.

It Was close to the time the pharmacy department was to go to lunch. The pharmacist started flipping out, screaming at everyone and yelling that it was lunchtime and not to help anybody that it was too bad. I think some of the elderly people did not realize that the Pharmacy closed at 1:30. They were just there to get their medication. The response from the pharmacist was so unprofessional. And for him not to want his staff to help the people, especially the elderly that were probably really in need of their medicine Was just disgusting. I understand you need lunch, but then you need to put a bigger sign out letting people know you went to lunch or maybe start closing the line off earlier. Screaming and yelling at people is not the way to do it. The pharmacist even said we’ve been doing
