CVS Pharmacy Specialty Services

This is one of the works bureaucratic companies I've ever dealt with. I've been trying to get a specialty drug from them. I've been dealing with them for 3 weeks, 2-3 hours a day. Every time they say all is ready...another problem pops up that NO ONE at their company ever told me. This is a classic case of the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. The reps are very NICE, but the info that they get while placing you on hold is WRONG...every time. I'm usually a bulldog with this type of stuff but they wore me down with their stupidity. I'm not dealing with them anymore and I'll get another drug. Don't believe a WORD they say. They have NO idea how the system works. I'd give a negative 10 if I could. It's too bad since my doctor took a lot of time to get this for me. NEW

This pharmacy operates quite differently and more professionally than typical pharmacies. They seem to specialize in handling difficult co-pays and refills by negotiating directly with insurance companies. If you call ahead, they can quickly send you the necessary information via email without you having to visit in person.

If you are responsible to yourself, please do not trust this CVS pharmacy! The front desk girl whose name is Samantha needs more training or be more serious with her work. Each time she told me different things about my medication, I kept following up and she kept providing wrong information! My medication got delayed for more than one week. This medication is for IVF, and we all know IVF is time sensitive. I cannot believe those people can be so ignorant and careless. One day Samantha you maybe also in the same situation, I hope you can be treated well.

If you want to take years off your life, make sure to attempt to get a prescription filled by CVS Specialty. When I tell you that the right hand does not know what the left is doing there, believe me. If i could give this company no stars, I would. Do everything in your power to avoid EVER working with this company.

Totally disjointed company. One department does not talk to the other. The people working there are nice but the system they are stuck in simply rots and kills patients. Every order meets error after error, until 5 weeks later you can finally get your medicine late. It's a comedy of errors. I am a physician and my son's life depends on infusions getting delivered timely by CVS Specialty. If I were not a physician and totally on top of the process, he would die, or relapse his condition. You really have to be VERY proactive when dealing with refills and renewals of authorizations, watching both the incompetent Caremark Pharmacy side and the equally incompetent Coram nursing side. Both are CVS sub-companies but they don't talk to each other. Give extra time for the comedy of errors. No one
