I have been a loyal customer of this CVS Pharmacy for 7 years, but the experience I had today (Sept 28, 2025, around 11:00 AM) was disgusting, unacceptable, and discriminatory. I was there to pick up my wife's cancer medication. While waiting in line, I stood well over eight feet back from the customer ahead of me. The female cashier at the counter suddenly and rudely demanded that I "back up one more foot," citing a non-existent "regulation." She was extremely dismissive and rude, while the entire pharmacy staff stood by smiling. The clear discrimination occurred immediately afterward: The next customer stood at least three feet closer to the counter than I was, but was not asked to move. When I pointed this out, the cashier stated that the "regulation" "only applies to you." This is not
CVS San Felipe Rd pharmacy is extraordinary helpful, especially the pharmacist. I feel comfortable coming there. The staffs are sincerely return the calls when I left voice messages.
The team members are unfriendly, bordering on rude. It always takes 3-6 hours after a call-in from the physician, until I get the prescribed items. The team members do not care if I'm in pain, I always have to wait.
I waited for a while to get to the counter and then I was told I need to wait 20 minutes for checking the insurance. I told them my baby is in the car with my parents cause we came back from doctor office directly. The pharmacy told me to shop other things. When I shopped baby stuff and came back, I was told to wait again in the long queue again despite I have told them my baby is crying now because of hunger. They don’t show any kindness to a mom with an infant. In addition, they are not professional, don’t know how to relief from allergy and don’t know where the baby allergy medicine is. I’m super disappointed and upset.
If you have a chime account don't go here to deposit money or withdraw money, apparently one of their cashier wouldn't accept my passport as an ID, apparently you need a citizen ID(I am a born and raised American with an American social security number and an American birth certificate with an American passport)
