CVS Pharmacy

The Team Member was very welcoming and he searched as to why I didn’t revive one of my prescriptions. He gave me a reasonable answer to the problem. My Doctor has to update the prescription. He showed genuine concern and helped me resolve it. We wished one an other a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year🎄

Filled only half my prescription. When I asked why, they said that’s all they had all they received from the doctor, which I knew was a lie because I could see what my doctor sent on my app. Lots of back and forth at the end of which they acknowledged that they did NOT fill the Rx as my Dr prescribed but also took zero responsibility or accountability for it. They stated that it I had chosen to ask for a pharmacy consult, the pharmacist would have told me to supplement the dispensed meds with additional meds that I needed to buy separately. The average patient would NOT have known to ask for a consult, they would assume the pharmacist does their job accurately and end up with only half their prescription! After waiting 3 days for urgent, time sensitive medication, I found out that the pharmacy team canceled my order without notifying me because they “didn’t want to order a refill since they ran out of stock”. When I called and pressed saying it was time sensitive and they needed to tell me a location that had it, it turns out they actually had it in stock all along. They never checked. (This happened two months in a row.) Furthermore, since they are inside a Target, the app features including prepay, delivery, pick up, or saving a payment card on file are not options since they aren’t “officially” a CVS.

This pharmacy is situated within a bustling supermarket in a rapidly improving neighborhood. The staff may sometimes come across as rude, but they do their best to assist you in obtaining your prescriptions and ensuring your health care. It’s an inconveniently located establishment where you can find little to no support for your needs while also helping this particular community grow!

Hard to express how unhelpful the staff was, not just to me, but to three other customers while I was there, pretending the couldn't hear questions, refusing to answer questions, not offering to go over new prescriptions with patients, not giving patients additional information they needed. It was stunning, especially compared to the service I have received at other CVS pharmacies. Perhaps because it's in a Target or the staff was new? Not sure.
