Floater pharmacist Anna Desmarais is incredibly rude and condescending. Trying to clarify that my "partial" refill was in March, not April, was impossible as she repeatedly told me I was wrong and would not allow me to get a word in edgewise. And when I wouldn't just accept her erroneous claim as fact, she got overly dramatic and hung up on me for "raising my voice". Customer Relations confirmed she did not edit my refill quantity back to the original 30-day quantity when filling my last script and they were able to correct. Floaters like this are bad for the CVS brand and should not be allowed to speak to customers in such a belligerent fashion.
Every interaction with the pharmacy has been a nightmare. They do not communicate or return calls regarding issues with prescriptions. It took several months for them to straighten out a medication that I needed, and it was not due to my doctors office... CVS just kept dropping the ball. My insurance only allows me to go to a CVS so I was unable to move the prescription. The staff is incredibly rude and 1 of the pharmacists loves to be condescending to some people. She has not been to me, however every time I visit she is to other customers. I understand that staffing shortages along with horrible customers has taken a toll on them, however I still expect at the very least professionalism. I receive texts from this CVS stating prescriptions are ready only to show up to be told they are out of stock. It generally takes 2-3 trips and 2 phone calls to get 1 prescription. But what really bothers me is the complete lack of customer service. The women that work the window are rude and blame it on the automated system. Are they going to blame it on the automated system when my husband doesn’t have his life dependent insulin or other medications? Take some responsibility! Absolutely unacceptable.
Worst customer service experience ever!! Pharmacist was rude and not helpful. I simply needed droppers for my sons liquid medication and this was a HUGE inconvenience to her. If you’re looking for a new pharmacy; I would NOT recommend the Putnam, CT location.
