CVS Pharmacy

On July 16, 2025, I picked up the prescriptions from CVS and, unfortunately, did not immediately notice that the medication had been changed. The prescription I received required me to take the medication twice daily instead of once daily, and it was used to treat heart failure — a condition I do not have. It wasn't until the next morning, July 17, that I realized the pill looked different and the dosage instructions had changed. I immediately called Arches Urgent Care and left a message but did not receive a timely response. I then contacted CVS and spoke with a representative, Trin D., who returned my call. The pharmacists @ CVS on 400 Admiral Street, providence are very unprofessional, rude, and lacks compassion for the visiting patrons. My wife just had a horrific encounter with them and end up changing to another pharmacy not named CVS.

Lovely reception and friendly staff members

This is literally the worst place to come for your medicine! It’s like they can careless about customer service! They constantly let the lines build up with only one person helping customers. Just because the location is in a urban area doesn’t mean customer service doesn’t matter! I constantly go to the one on Atwood Ave Johnston and West Warwick main st !!! Never experienced this is ridiculous!

This has been my pharmacy of choice for over 20 years. Thank you for being there for me and my family.
