CVS Pharmacy

I’ve been with CVS Pharmacy for over five years, and in that time they’ve earned my trust more than once. Most of my visits are quick and easy — prescriptions ready, staff polite, and everything handled the way it should be. It’s the kind of consistency you don’t really notice until you stop and think about it. There was one moment that could’ve gone badly. A prescription machine shorted me about 30 pills, and for a second I thought, “Great… here we go.” But the way the staff handled it is exactly why I’m still a loyal customer. They didn’t brush me off or make it complicated. They checked the cameras, confirmed what happened, and fixed the issue with zero attitude. Just professionalism and respect. That meant a lot. Visited the retail front of the store and not the pharmacy. Loaded stock carts with product sat in the aisles in front of merchandise shelves and no one appeared to be working them. Two clerks at the front counter engaged in a lengthy conversation, oblivious to customers, totally ignoring them, relying on self-checkout to accommodate customer and further oblivious that the self-checkout scanner was malfunctioning. Leaves blanketed the approaches to the front of the store and up to about ten feet inside the store, having been ground into the area carpets at the entrance. It's like no one really cared. I didn't take photos this time but in the off-chance I go back, I'll document what I see and share.

I usually love this CVS. Day staff is amazing. I have nothing bad to say about the day staff. Weekend shift, especially Sundays - horrible. Staff has attitudes and I had the word interaction with pharmacist Jim (black guy). I've never seen him there before but I try not to go there in the weekends. He was beyond rude. As a matter of fact, I'm transferring all my business to Walgreens. They are always nice. They treat me with respect and courtesy.

We only used the pharmacy. Personnel was friendly . We had called them to get our prescriptions from PA that we needed here in Florida. They accomished this in a timely manner. They were aware of the proper orocess.

The only thing I did not appreciate was this couple needed assistance and the cashier did not want to stop and doing stock to help them. I also was in need of a cashier and I asked if there was a cashier and she said it was her. I proceeded to say can you please check me out? She says is there something wrong with the card reader? I told her I don't know, I am not doing self-checkout I want a cashier. She asked why and I proceeded to say I don't work here can you please stop what you're doing and cash me out period and boy was she upset. This was the CVS on 39 Alexander in Plant City off of 92
