CVS Pharmacy

The store is huge. Bright, beautiful. Clean. Only 1 checkout when I went. Extremely pleased with pharmacy staff, 10 times better than Rancho Cordova staff and these guys know how to use the texting app. I knew when both prescriptions hit..like the minute they hit which in one case was before I actually left my Drs, I knew they were working on it, then I got a text saying it was too soon to fill it. Which was true, I was thrilled to get so much information. So when Rancho blamed there incompetence (when I called AFTER IT WAS TIME for the refill, only to find out it had been ready and it was my fault it was about to be reshelved ) on the system , imagine my surprise when everything worked smoothly. Horrible. I walked into line at 12:30 and they told me they were closed for lunch from 12:30 until 1pm. I asked if I could please grab the prescriptions for my elderly neighbor whom im helping out and they said no, I was free to wait until 1. Ive been saying customer service everywhere is declining and nobody cares anymore. I could understand if I had walked into line after 12:30, but I was in line as it was turning 12:30 so they really should of helped me.

Wait times are ridiculous. Only 1 cashier to assist customers. Pharmacist gives consultation at the cash register in front of everyone in line to hear; no privacy. Never receive a call or text that prescriptions are ready and when checking status calling automated system it is not accurate. Had to wait 20 minutes for prescriptions to be filled and get back in line to pay for my remaining prescriptions that I waited for.

Since Rite Aid closed in Galt CVS continues to save the day. Got my prescription transferred and gill within 1 hour. During the process they kept me informed. Clean ADA bathrooms and parking. Very clean well organized store.

CVS Galt pharmacy is extremely professional, they get the medication’s that you need ready asap. If you leave a message, they call back within minutes. They work with your doctors and faxing when needed. The pharmacists actually care.
