CVS Pharmacy

The real standout at this CVS is the pharmacy team. They are consistently helpful, patient, and efficient. Despite how busy they often are, they provide quick service and are great at answering questions. The rest of the store is clean and has a good selection. A top notch pharmacy experience.

I will be transferring my prescriptions out of Walgreens. I have been a customer of this store for almost 15 years. The current pharmacy manager thinks they know best. This summer they failed to fill heart medication my doctor wanted me to try because they wanted a 90 day prescription even though my cardiologist asked them to give me 30 days. They refill prescriptions I don't need refilled yet when they decide. But the medications I take daily they refuse to fill until the day before it is due without regard to my work / life schedule and when I can get there. Some prescriptions are filled by outside vendors in giant pill bottles placed in excess, wasteful plastic bags. I visited the store on Green Level Church road on 9/3, arriving at 2:08 PM. Despite there being 6+ pharmacists on duty, only one staff member (an Indian lady) was assisting the line. At 2:26 PM I was asked to return in 15 minutes to pick up the prescription for my handicapped parent. And the prescription was delivered to CVS yesterday at 10:21 AM. This experience was frustrating and time-consuming. I suggest exploring the use of AI agent or robotics to help improve efficiency and reduce wait times. Thank you for your attention.

On the day when the auto-refill was scheduled for my prescriptions, the status on the CVS website was noted as 'preparing' for just about all day. I left a message to find out when they will be ready, and in fact someone called me back just to say that they will be ready by 6pm that day but if not, I can come by at that time to get them. The next day, I checked the status of the prescriptions and found out that the auto-refill was not done and they were noted as 'ready for refill'. I had to go to the store, explained, and waited 25 minutes to get my prescriptions. No one could tell what's wrong with the auto-refill system and had no suggestion on what to do next time.

Great location and the drive thru is so convenient! The CVS Pharmacy Team members are very welcoming and efficient.
