This pharmacy does not allow the standard "28 day rule" guidance for refilling recurring prescriptions. They make you wait until 1 day after you run out, they state you can go to the 24hr cvs in toms River at 1201am, really! They will tell you it's dep rules but every other pharmacy in the are allows the "28 day rule". This means you must be home on the exact refill date, no travel or doctor schedules, also remember you will be out of meds for approximately 12 hours before they refill on the exact day. Very hard if you are caring for a homebound relative, hence the reason for the "28 day rule" guidance from the state of NJ. Find another pharmacy, they state one thing and do another. Good luck.

This was my go to CVS even though my husband use Walgreens. CVS was a little closer and I didn’t have any complaints until… Yesterday was a different story I went to get a flu shot I asked the person in consultation, “ all do respect, I would like to see you set up my shot. The pharmacy manager came out with an angry face, never addressed me by name.. but the needle was already opened. I said ma’m I asked to see you open everything in front of me. She was very rude in her tone and body language, “ isn’t this what you asked for “. Make a long story short when is it medically appropriate to bring a (flu shot)needle ready to put in someone arm. Very easy to schedule vaccine appt online. Pharmacist who administered the vaccine very affable.

The guy at the windows for drive-thru is very nice, but whomever thought they were stopping me from getting my prescription is ignorant! It should not take three days to get something right! Do your job, it isn't hard! Especially when the insurance is saying something different.
