CVS Pharmacy

I was doing a shop and pay order at this location and it was very frustrating. At first, I pressed the assistance button and a staff member came, but they showed no interest in helping and quickly left. Later, when I found the correct items locked in the cabinet, I pressed the button several times and waited for minutes, but no one came. I was unable to complete the order and had to cancel it

Incompetence runs deep at this pharmacy. Too bad Rite Aid went out of business. I would have switched to them if they were still around. CVS Pharmacy is a mixed up organization.

Got my 2025 Covid Spikevax and flu today at the CVS Pharmacy on Steinway Street in Astoria. The staff there were very professional, helpful, and very nice. The online scheduling was easy to use. Definitely a good experience....

Came at 9am was told my prescription was out of stock. However, the pharmacist said to come back after 5pm because he had ordered it. I come back at 545, but I’m told it’s still out of stock. What a waste of time

I’ve tried to give this Rite Aid pharmacy the benefit of the doubt, but after three months of the same issue, I’m writing this so hopefully they start to communicate a little more clearly with you. Every time my doctor sends in a prescription, I come in to fill it—sometimes a day early, and they understandably ask me to come back. But then I return on the day they told me to and I get a different instruction: “Come back in two more days.” When I do that, they then say, “Oh, it’s on backorder. We need to order it,” or worse: “You should try another pharmacy.” What’s most frustrating is the inconsistent and inaccurate information—I’ve never once had a smooth or reliable pickup here. There’s no system in place to track the communication on what they’ve told you, and no accountability. I’ll
