CVS Pharmacy

Went to pickup a medication that I needed as soon as possible, they refused to check on it or let me know the status, and told me it would not be ready for at least an hour. When I returned, they were closed. Seems like a key detail they should have shared with me. Additionally, shortly after leaving I was notified via text that the prescription was ready. So, clearly, the hour wait was a lie. I’m assuming the pharmacy tech was feeling lazy and did not care to simply scan my prescription and let me swipe my credit card. I then had to work with my insurance to send the pharmacy to another pharmacy since it was needed immediately. Finally, the CVS it ends up being sent to is in another city, since apparently every CVS in the area is out of stock. This pharmacy tech wasted easily 4 hours

At least one of the pharmacists does not speak English at even a conversational level, and could not answer some basic questions I had. This is a safety concern. It’s hard to trust a medical business that would make such a decision. This post ought to help you read between the lines on the many other lengthy complaints.

AVOID THIS PHARMACY. Instead, walk a few minutes to the N.Pierce Street location where you will be treated with dignity. This was the worst retail experience I have ever had. The staff were terse, unhelpful and uncompassionate. They would not even call another CVS to check on medication supplies. Perhaps they are intimidated by the pharmacist? He was aggressive, raised his voice to me repeatedly, and actually made me cry in front of my kid. This is shameful behavior, even more so as these people are healthcare professionals. Their colleagues at other locations told me that they hear complaints about this pharmacy all the time - why isn’t CVS management doing something about it?

Rude staff and awful service. Unfortunately there are no local alternatives within walking distance - these big chains have likely killed them all.

I generally never have any issues since often times I'll just use self checkout and not interact with the staff. However today I came in to make a return and the cashier immediately said that the item I was returning was not eligible. I told her that according to my emailed receipt that it is and I had 60 days to return it. She kept insisting that it wasnt. She relented then asked to see the receipt which I showed her. She said that she can't process the return without a barcode which the emailed receipt doesn't have. The manager comes over and quickly processed the return, all she needed was my credit card. The cashier apologized however I was already taken a back by her bold rudeness. The cashier needs to be retrained, she wasn't aware of how to process a simple return, she also wasn't a
