CVS Pharmacy

Today I called the CVS branch on New Scotland Avenue, Albany, SIX times. I wanted to speak with someone in the pharmacy regarding my prescription. First the automated answer system didn’t recognise my phone number? Asked me if I wanted to verify another number? Why? I only have one number. When entered my actual number (which is on record at the store) the call was disconnected. On an other attempt the automated system asked me for my prescription number, a number I don’t have since my dentist emailed it directly to the pharmacy. Another call ended by the system. After 6 attempts I gave up.This is so frustrating and ridiculous! What a waste of time and energy.

It's 2025 and my stepdad was racially profiled all because he wanted to load money onto his card. He's Hispanic, born in the same country as the rest of us, and yet the manager AND employee were both asking where he came from, what he was trying to do, and making him out to seem suspicious because he wanted to add cash onto his card.

The cashier is the sweetest person as rep I never encountered in cvs as customer! Her smile and nice words will lift you up when you existing the pharmacy. We need more people like her out there🤗🙏

The service here SUCKS. I reached out to have a prescription refilled and they told me that they could not do so because it was not due until the 11th. I TRIPLE checked the amount of pills in my bottle, and I only had until the 9th—no full 30 day supply. Then, I contacted my doctor and my insurance plan to have it ready on the 9th because I cannot discontinue abruptly or miss taking it, and they told me last minute that they are out of stock and will have it ready, at least, by the 11th. Are you kidding me?? Why tell me this NOW??? I swear the frustration with them...

They always have my medication that's always on a nationwide shortage and I love the app and how my doctor can put in meds early and when the date comes up they automatically get filled or it tells you exactly what's wrong or what you need to do. The pharmacy team gets back to you immediately which is also awesome and they are nice. Not like the past I'll tell you that much the nasties that have worked there in the past were atrocious and had no business being in customer service or pharmacology for that matter.
