CVS

I was shorted a total of 25 pills after knee replacement surgery. Twice they didn't fill the full RX. They can't give you the rest at a later time. I was told I could go see if I could get them elsewhere. Well, my insurance covers them at CVS. As I had been rationing them, I was not up to running all over looking for my prescription elsewhere. The Dr gave me an RX for the pills I was missing. The insurance company wouldn't cover the 3rd RX and I paid full price. I have never had this problem before, ever.

Just received excellent service from Faith as well as another employee in the pharmacy, as well as an employee up front. It was a pleasure to be at this CVS today!

7+ years of patronage to the same pharmacy at the CVS Ellijay, GA location. Every month like clock work for the same (2) prescriptions from the same doctor. Arrive at 9 AM. First one. Not a busy time. The last two months my disabled husband was made to sit & wait for 2 hours as others come & go. May have been 4-5 people the entire time. Cash payment. No insurance verification necessary. What could possibly take 2 hours? Last month she told him he could go elsewhere if he didn’t want to wait. There is absolutely no loyalty on their end. They could not care less! Update : July 16, 2025 ~ Dropped off the same 2 prescriptions at 9:10 AM. The same prescriptions we take there every month. The pharmacy opens at 9 AM. We let them know we would be waiting. This time we were told they would be ready

Pharmacy staff here needs training, if they are going to continue to fill prescriptions for pets. Veterinarians do not have PCI numbers and they are not required, by law, to give their DEA number to a pharmacy, unless they are prescribing a controlled drug. Their state license number is acceptable to give in place of their DEA and it is the State License that gives the veterinarian authority to prescribe drugs. Whether it is human or animal medicine - DEA numbers should be protected. This does not seem to be an issue at other pharmacies in the area.

The service has always been great and the staff is professional. Shout out to Whitney. So helpful when there is a question and she is on top of all needed vaccines. I would not go to any other drug store. Paul Cook
