Cub Pharmacy

This shows as "In network" for CVS Caremark insurance, but it is a qualified "in-network." There are some prescriptions that will be arbitrarily deemed out of network at this pharmacy, which means you have to go somewhere else to get your prescription covered under your insurance.

My family used cub pharmacy consistently for almost 10 years for a family member. We have utilized many pharmacies over the 10 years and Cub has been the best. No pharmacy is perfect we have learned that, but they have helped us navigate prescriptions and are always available to answer questions. When our family member passed we received a personalized sympathy card signed by staff, that showed they do go above and beyond.

They would call or text when my automatic prescriptions were filled. They started sending tons of advertising via text for sales of vaccines and cologuard. I opted out. Now when my prescription is ready they will not call or text because I opted out... I opted out of your unsolicited ads. I still want you to call/text my prescription is ready. They told me the only way they will contact me is if I opt in for the ads. Time to find a new pharmacy!!

This a very busy pharmacy- I counted 7+ techs outside of the pharmacist- the most I’ve ever seen at one time anywhere. The employees convey an exhausted demeanor, no eye contact and/or any symptom of a manifestation of friendliness. Don’t you even think of wasting their time with a smidge of small talk. You all look and act utterly miserable. Except for a pharmacist named Denise, I think. But she’s not there very much. Steely unresponsiveness, refusing to mirror a smile or greeting. Eye contact and at least a “hello” are just so difficult for staff to muster. It’s just not normal. Or desirable. Or human. Welcome to the rest of us- underpaid, understaffed, too busy. Your put-upon attitudes are completely unnecessary and inappropriate. And yet we persevere with pleasantries. We carry on

Have had great experiences with this pharmacy but just interacted with someone new. That person couldn't care less about the customer. Would say 99% of the time will be a good experience but that bad apple with customer service will leave a bad taste in your mouth.
