Crystal Lake Rehabilitation and Care Center

This facility has been absolutely amazing to my family. The staff has treated my father with such compassion and respect and have helped my siblings and I thru a very difficult time. They've made this whole process easier and continue to be there for all of us in every way possible. I can't thank them enough for their kindness and patience! Forever grateful!

My elderly auntie has been a resident at this facility for the last several months for long term care. I can’t be more pleased with the facility and the staff. We had visited other locations before settling on this one. From the moment we walked in, it just felt homier than others, and everything was clean. There is a language barrier with her, and so I was extremely worried that would be an issue; however, the staff has been great in dealing with the circumstances surrounding that. Communication is very important to me, and the staff has done an excellent job in keeping me updated on everything while she’s in their care. I highly recommend this facility to others, should the time come too when you need the help.

At the moment I am disgusted with this facility! A friend was admitted yesterday as, I believe a Hospice patient, my husband went to check on him today to make sure he is comfortable. Well, he was still in the clothes he had on yesterday afternoon, including his hat!!!! Not blanket, the only thing they did for him is remove his shoes! This is not acceptable care! Not at all!! They had better get their act together soon or they will be having visitors from Elderly affairs and a news station!!

Crystal Lake is an amazing nursing home, the staff is on point, the facility is clean and recently renovated, and the activities color staff are really dedicated. My mother has been living there for 3 years and best of all, she loves being there.

Dad went into the rehab side after he fell and broke his hip. We took him back home after about 1 1/2 weeks as he had recovered enough to get him back to the familiarity of home. Unfortunately, his care needs became too great for my sister and I, so we had to admit him to the Long Term Care side about a week later. When we returned to Crystal Lake, it was like he was a rock star on tour. All the nurses and admin greeted him with open arms and said "welcome back...we missed having you with us". It was the hardest decision my sister and I ever had to make and the reaction of the personnel at Crystal Lake put our fears to rest. Rarely have I experienced anywhere the professionalism and kindness displayed by all staff members at Crystal Lake. They are VERY responsive to any questions y
