The entire staff is welcoming and compassionate. Dr. Harper takes the time to listen and advise the best treatment. The nurses are absolutely wonderful. I definitely recommend the Poughkeepsie office if you have an exotic animal. They were so wonderful with our bunny Max. Sadly Max was too ill and is no longer with us but the understanding and compassion the entire staff showed made the experience so much more tolerable. I will definitely seek their business In the future, should I get any more pet children.

Very helpful and compassionate. Never knew a vet could see our Gecko. The staff listened and handled our pet with care. They showed us how to administer the antibiotic shots so we know exactly what to do. Explaining everything and showing how to administer the medication correctly.

Dr. Duggan is the best! My cat had a life threatening injury and required surgery. Although she had never done this surgery before, she researched what needed to be done and did it perfectly at a very reasonable price. The team’s follow up care was awesome and now I still have my precious boy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I have recommended many people to Creature Comforts. They offer professional service with compassion, and always willing to get you in quickly. The staff is so knowledgeable and they see all kinds of animals! I have seen multiple doctors here, and they are all great. Most often I see Dr. Barker and she is very knowledgeable and diligent in the care she provides. Very nice front desk staff and vet techs too!

Very happy with the care my cats have received. It's hard to find vets that attend to cats as carefully as they do to dogs, but Creature Comforts has been thorough, compassionate, and they take the time and effort necessary to ensure the best care is given. Their support staff is also totally on top of things and always communicate with me clearly so that I know exactly what is happening and why. There is a lot to be said for an independent practice over other places that have been bought by the big corporations.
