CoxHealth Adult and Pediatric Urgent Care Plus: Turner Center

Thank you so much for the ANGELS I had to help me today. PA Casey, Nurse Teresa, and I'm mad I forgot the doctors name. They were all so incredible in helping me address my back pain and getting me situated. Best urgent care experience I've ever had in my life.

We were in waiting room for 3hrs then they put us back in room. We now sit here waiting and freezing. So far another 2 hours. Doctor very nice, but this stay here until no idea when. "We are Open 24 hrs." Urgent care??? Mom is on medicaid and they tried to charge her a copay.

Don’t take your kids here unless they are actively dying. My 3 year old son swallowed something and I didn’t know what it was and told them I wasn’t sure what it was bc he ran out of his room crying and gagging and then got it down right after. We were in there for 5 hours and when we got to the waiting room there were only 5 people ahead of us. He swallowed something an hour beforehand so that’s about 6 hours since it happened and still nothing. He felt fine and was playing and didn’t seem uncomfortable so we went home but what if something was wrong. They don’t care about your kids if they did they wouldn’t take 5 hours at least (because he was never seen by a doctor) to let me know if he swallowed something toxic or just a small toy that he’ll pass. Hope you’re ready to pay out of pocket for an ER visit because that’s how they bill you or your insurance provider when you go here now. It’s because they changed the name to Urgent Care “Plus” so it’s considered an emergency room because it’s attached to the hospital. And don’t dream of calling them to sort anything out either, half the time they don’t answer anyway. If I could leave negative stars I would

We were concerned our 6 month old had an ear infection and were traveling through town on a road trip - we were able to get in quickly to be seen by a physician and the whole experience was incredible! We held an appointment spot online, was seen very quickly, and worked with an amazing care team! The nurses and doctors were so knowledgeable, kind and made our little one smile! Great pediatric facility! 100% recommend.
