Cox Orthodontics - North Charleston

This was my daughters first visit to this location her initial appointment was for 10:30 but we got there like 9:30 to be honest we were back in summerville before 10:30 which I think was awesome service from the team. Service was quick staff was warm and welcoming.

Upon entering this facility , i was greeted by friendly receptionist. Big smiles and friendly atmosphere. Office was clean and the wait time was speedy. Paperwork wasn’t overwhelming at all. The system of how they operate was very impressive. No one was bumping into one another, the established patients were happy and ready. Receptionist answered the phones. Music playlist was awesome. The staff even laughed at my jokes. Anywhere you can be yourself is a yes for me. I saw dr Polie and he was super funny and inviting ! He kept it real and didn’t want to make me feel like I needed to spend unnecessary money. Overall a super fun place that is warm and inviting ! In the words of Dr Polie ; YES YES YES!

The team is really nice and the orthodontist was great. I gave 4 stars because my son was sat in a dental chair that had an inoperable light. During patient teaching for my son’s expander, I could barely see what I was doing, so I can only imagine how they were working like this. The orthodontist seemed just as frustrated since he constantly kept looking up at the light like he needed it badly. It did not give me good feelings for patient safety, especially since the patient was my son. I truly hope they will close off this workstation till the light can get fixed. I also asked how long it’s been like this and was told, “for a while now.” Unacceptable.

My experience with Cox orthodontics has been a great experience over the years. Dr. Cox and his staff is amazing. Two of my oldest children were seen here and now my youngest is currently being seen at the North Charleston location. Best thing, if an emergency comes up, just call and they will fit you in!!

Bethany and Stephanie are amazing at the front desk! They gave myself and my son a warm welcoming! We love seeing them when we come in for his appointments
