COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing at Walgreens

No longer offering free COVID testing. They offer paid testing, but counterintuitive to common sense, the drive through is closed so you have sick people walking through the store exposing everyone. Walgreens is understaffed for a reason.

Called earlier today and did a prescription refill for later today rather than tomorrow. When I got the call that my prescription was ready for pickup, I headed straight there. Unfortunately, I got there during their lunch break, I had to wait about 15 minutes, which was OK, until I got to the line where I was waiting for another 10 minutes. When I got to the register the person asked what I was there for, and then walked away into another room after I told them. It wasn't until 20 minutes later, after another employee asked "are you waiting?", that I was able to get service.

Went in for a covid test it took 40 minutes on the computer, two employees working on it to input the information for the test?? Then paper work I got back did not have a any information on how to get the results so I called Walgreens back and was told I would be informed by email, well they never asked me for my email address? Won’t be going back any time soon.

Went there today in the morning, and the staff and their management were professional, courteous, and quick.
