This is the worst place to come for an emergency. I was in a car wreck. My left ribs are killing me, and my right hip is screwed. I came by ambulance and have been in the waiting room for 5 hours and my fiance. This is insane. They should really do better, but unfortunately they can’t. Getting in a car accident isn’t a true emergency. Not sure what counts as one anymore!
Worst ER I’ve ever had to visit. Rude and condescending nurses and nurse aides in this ER! I was in a car accident and the ambulance took me to this nightmare of an ER. I had to go to the bathroom, but couldn’t walk so the nurse gave me a bed pan to use on the stretcher. Well the urine went everywhere and all over my back. No one cared that I had a wet urine soaked body. I didn’t expect a soap and washcloth washing, but the nurse didn’t even dry off my urine soaked skin. All they cared about was cleaning the stretcher. I had to ask for basic things like water and crackers numerous times. Every time I hit the call light, the staff would walk in with an annoyed look on their face. I couldn’t walk, so I needed assistance. No one cared that I was bleeding and swallowing blood. I was discharged
Rude and careless nurses. They dont even talk to you like you are human. Some Dr's are ok, they rotate. Don't get Dr. Ledbetter. He will let you lie in distress for hours while your are septic with pneumonia. He needs to hang it up and find a new career bc he does not care for sick or hurt people. He's just there for a paycheck. Once you're admitted the hospital floors are amazing. Train your ER staff.
I didn’t know I could have a worse ER experience than UMC gave me, but Covenant proved me wrong. I have EDS (a connective tissue disorder) and one of the comorbidities I have with it is cyclic vomiting syndrome. When Zofran and scopalamine patches don’t cut it, I end up in the ER needing fluids and stronger antinausea meds. When I arrived to Covenant ER, I had been unable to keep food down for over 48 hours, and unable to keep water down for 15 hours. Constant vomiting and continued retching after nothing else was left. UMC at least immediately gave me an IV and antinausea meds before sending me back to the lobby when I last had a flare up. It wasn’t a great experience so I opted for Covenant this time. BIG MISTAKE. Covenant drew my blood and sent me to the lobby for 5 hours. Durin
Terrible treatment. I came in with back pain by ambulance and this nurse. Ambulance people made me walk into room to register. Girl didn't even get out if her chair. Ambulance girl and er nurse had bad attitude besides. Im an older person and needed help because if an imponged nerve possibly. They don't care. Talking among themselves while taking my vitals. Terrible.
