Courtyards Community Living Center

Visited today and was extremely saddened. First off I am a director of Nursing at another facility and when we approached the Nursing station, two staff members were sitting there, 1 was wrapping the others foot, emar open. I could have gotten any info . The smell of urine and feces was tremendous. The smell lingered on our clothes even after we left. Wish I could have brought her home with me

We didn’t personally have a good experience with Courtyards in Fulton nursing/short term rehab center. Within only 3 days of being there, my Dad was severely dehydrated, and his sugar was almost 500. He was lethargic, his eyes rolling back in his head, pupils dilated, and mumbling during our FaceTime call with him. I’m so thankful the PT assistant let us FaceTime him so we could see his decline. We immediately made arrangements to get him transferred to the hospital via ambulance. The hospital rehydrated him, got his sugar down, and he was able to return to our personal home. He will do rehab at our house from here forward.

This is the worst retirement place my father had EVER been to. He had to go to the bathroom and they came TWO HOURS later!! And that was just when they brought him the food. So he had to sit on his bed that was covered in pee for two hours so their crappy workers could come and ‘help’. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy!

I pray that if I ever have to live at a nursing home, I will be placed here!! The people who work here are definitely in it because they care!! I'm here now for physical therapy and rehab and I was so afraid to come here and now I'm not looking forward to leaving , because I'm so comfortable and cared about!!

My mother in law ms Shirley Curtis is there .they take really great care of her and can't wait to gt to go back in and visit .
