County of Berks Berks Heim Nursing Home

Great Facility and staff! My mother has been at Berks Heim for over 2 years and the care she receives is wonderful. It is not easy to put a loved one in a nursing home - not easy for them or for you, but the care my mother receives at Berks Heim gives me peace of mind. The Nurses provide excellent care and very thorough with communication, and the aids show a lot of compassion towards the residents, and they have very little turnover. They have a tough and demanding job! There are activities, music events and church services that keep her involved. She also receives great care with physical and occupational therapists when needed. Berks Heim is super clean and never has a funky smell. I feel we are so lucky in Berks County to have this Nursing Care.

Berk’s Heim Nursing facility is top notch. The entire staff have been so gracious and they have kept us so well informed. The staff has included us on their team meetings and worked with us diligently on the administrative process. We can’t say enough about how supportive the staff has been. My mom came to the Heim in August. It's been an adjustment, but getting better as she meets new people. The staff has been great, very attentive to her needs and always invested in her well being.

Loved one at Berks Heim since mid-March 2024 in both Rehab and Skilled Nursing settings. Quality of care in both settings is top notch. The staff cares and is attentive to the various needs of each patient. Staff keeps me informed and is quick to answer questions. Room and building are clean and safe. Food looks pretty good for a larger institution. Plenty of activities by compassionate staff offer residents opportunities to socialize and "stay sharp." I'm very satisfied with the care at Berks Heim and I recommend it to anyone seeking fine care in a safe, clean, and caring environment. Paul Jones

My Aunt was a patient at Berks Heim in their rehabilitation ward. The staff was friendly, caring and compassionate. The nursing staff and social worker kept me up to date on my aunts progress throughout her entire stay. They coordinated OT & PT services to be provided after her discharge. I was impressed with the care she received during her stay.
