The store in petersburg has potential, the staff there is always really nice however they clearly don't FIFO their products as I keep coming accrossed boxed goods or condiments that are well beyond their expiration date, like 2024 exp date and its almost 2026. Do better country market
Just move to town and this is the only grocery store in town. The meat i have gotten the last 2 times was brown and the potatoes in the produce were moldy. Not a very good selection food.
Smaller store products vary compared to other county market stores. Friendly customer service. Recommended in area. Staff always willing to help you locate an item, or recommend replacement for an out of stock item. Small town pride exemplified.

If i could give this place 0 stars, I would. The produce selection is filled with moldy products, expired items in every isle on the shelves, some being OVER A YEAR EXPIRED. The meat is constantly dried out or rotting, coolers are constantly dirty and in repair, nothing is consistently available and fresh. Prices are gauged through the roof compared to any surrounding stores. Employees and Manager sit outside on smoke breaks with the loudest marijuana in Menard county and have attitude when you ask to return expired items, or for them to be taken off shelves. Poor work ethic, poor customer service, and poor merchandise.
