Countryside Animal Health - Smicksburg

Saying goodbye to a pet is never easy, but the kind staff at Countryside handled our cat's end of life with care and compassion. They never pressured us to pursue care options that were extreme or against our wishes. Thank you for helping us enjoy time with her for a few more months, worth the 30 minute drive to work with great people!

This was our first time using this vet. We were both very happy with everything. We didn't have to fill out meaningless useless paperwork. They only took the information they actually needed. The doctor and her staff were incredibly nice, caring and helpful. We actually felt comfortable there. We drove all the way from Indiana PA which is a little over a half hour away and even though they're in the middle of BFE it was definitely worth it. We were able to get in quickly and felt that the money we spent was well worth it and it was nice being able to afford it. We've gone to a couple other vets in our hometown before finding this vet and those vets were just in it for the money and didn't really care about the animals or us. Dr. Winslow I would recommend to anyone but the woman vet that’s there absolutely NEVER- this is twice in less than 3 years we had taken a sick animal to her and her recommendation was hospitalization instead of trying to help the animal. The first time it wasn’t within the budget however got a second opinion and had the woman vet given oral antibiotics my baby would’ve had a better chance of survival rather than giving her pain medication and that was it. Now here we are a little over a year later and my aunt had taken her cat to the ER vet and had to follow up with her regular vet- my aunt takes the cat to this woman at smicksburg and she says hospitalize.. So my aunt takes him Back to the ER vet to have him hospitalized (per the woman vets recommendation) and they were confused as to wh

Best vet I've been to so far. Many vets feel like a waste of your time and like they're just trying to take your money. This vet has great prices, they're very efficient, they take the time to explain things thoroughly, and they are patient with you. I'm usually in and out in 30 minutes WITH MULTIPLE TREATMENTS DONE.

This is honestly the best vet I've found.. ( and I have went ( and been loyal ) to a few.) But I switched all to countryside. I love them! They saved my cat ( really bad blockage ) and I take both my dogs here. It's really nice inside. Set up really great. And if that wasn't enough their prices are the most reasonable I have seen. I drive an hour to get here, but it's worth it!
