I had my guard up with this place due to the reviews but I have had nothing but a good experience every time. I even credit them for saving my kittens life after FIP had taken its toll on her. If you’re familiar with FIP it’s horrible. But I’m so happy to report that she went through the 84 days of medication and is in remission. She’s thriving. That was weeks ago… why I’m writing this today is because they just spayed my other kitten and they have just been so great about everything. I had some worries about her incision and they told me to bring her in day off (always nice to not have to wait) unfortunately, she did open her wound a little but they took care of it quickly and they didn’t even charge me ( it’s my fault, I took the cone off too early. What a wonderful experience ❤️ My 17 yr old chihuahua needed an emergency surgery. The staff was absolutely amazing. They went so far as to send me pictures and calling me during late night hours so I knew she was okay. What can I say, they simply are amazing. And the Vet, he was so patient, explaining every step. Answering every concern with such compassion. Reassuring me that everything would be okay. And it was, she's doing fabulous thanks to everyone at Country pet.

The staff at Country Pet Hospital do not care about animals or people in distress. My English Labrador retriever consumed a complete box of rat poison. I rushed him to the office as I am a local Alpine small business owner. They did not have a veterinarian on site, they refused to help in anyway. No offer of helping me find the nearest actual hospital to help my dog. I knew I needed to get him to vomit, as it is the only treatment option for this type of poison, followed with charcoal treatments. Im very lucky to have a friend who is a licensed vet out of area that talked me through the procedure and what I needed to get at CVS that would induce vomiting. I was able to get him back to my shop, administer the products with a hose and syringe I use in my work. I then rushed him to a real an

My little Charlie boy got attacked by a group of dogs in the late afternoon and after calling our local vets with no luck we called this vet which is over an hour and a half away, they said bring him up and they will wait and help him. Luckily my dog survived the almost two hour drive and they were waiting and ready to do emergency surgery on him at almost 7pm when we arrived . The doctor jumped into action making sure my dog had a fighting chance and assured me he will be fine. Over the next couple of days they reached out numerous times updating me on his status and how great he was doing and two days later he was ready to come home. Fast forward two weeks and my Charlie boy is completely back to normal and is doing great thanks to this doctor and his staff. If I could give more stars I

Worst vet ever. Took my dog due to happy tail and the vet did not even look at it or touch the affected area. He just suggested to amputate his tail. I am so disappointed. Plus the place was nasty and run down. Not a good place to take a sick pet!
