I recently moved and changed from another Costco Pharmacy that was a dream compared to this one. I wouldn’t suggest ever getting a script filled here if you’re on any controlled substances as you’re treated as drug seeking. I came on day 28 since I was already in the area and was told I would have to wait until day 29 to get the script, causing another drive to Costco. When I filled the script it would have been nice to have been told that upfront instead of “we’ll get it ready.” Needless to say I’ll be taking my scripts elsewhere after my refills are out, as you can’t even transfer a controlled substance script.

It truly is roulette with the service you’re getting here. Only rarely do you ever get someone either in person and especially on the phone who doesn’t sound like they would rather be doing anything else than being there. I understand, pharmacies are often short staffed and overworked and policies, insurance, and coverages change what seems like almost daily. I have had a lot of people over time rave about the service they get at the Costco pharmacy but I have to ask where. I have been snapped at, talked over, huffed at, etc. all while trying to ask genuine questions about my prescriptions. I don’t appreciate ever being spoken to that way. Especially when my behavior has done nothing to warrant it.

Agree that it is service roulette, ever since the pandemic it’s a crapshoot. My final straw that had me pick up and swap all my Rx to Publix was the tech named Brittany who I want to warn about specifically. An exceedingly unpleasant person who shouldn’t be anywhere near customer service as I observed her be shockingly rude, belligerently unhelpful and condescending to the other tech on shift (the nice man with the grey crew cut). I had a request that had been fulfilled many times at that location and was told I couldn’t any more- she cut me off mid (polite!) question and told me to talk to her manager. I demurred but she stormed off and got her manager regardless, while the manager and I had a pleasant if mutually puzzled interaction. The immediate escalation from a pleasant transaction t

I have never had an issue with Costco until tonight. In fact, I normally brag profusely on how I love the store and even more so their customer service. So maybe tonight was an exception but it left a “mark” on Costco and it has me potentially shopping for a new pharmacy. I have an HSA card that I have used for some time to pay for my families’ prescriptions without issue. Lately, my card has not been working and they would remedy the situation but typing the card number in which allowed the payment to go through. Until one day recently, I went to pick up medicines and was told by the cashier she was no longer allowed to type card numbers in per her manager. I didn’t want to get her in trouble so I just paid for all the medicine with my regular debit card. Well, this week it was tim

Never had a problem getting my prescriptions filled, even those called in by my doctor. It clearly states when the pharmacy may be closed for lunch. Also, the vaccine card has always been required when getting a second shot or booster, even if you go to the health department. I like the pharmacy and staff, they're always friendly.
